Well.. this isn't the way to start a new year... watching so many depressing movies! This one was very sad. Its a story about a youths first love, disillusionment, and loss. Very intense sexual scenes so its not for youngsters. The acting was wonderful. It also presented a different viewpoint on the people who worked in the concentration camps during the war in Germany. Because of its dark nature I give it 3 stars... good but not excellent. I need to go see a light-hearted comedy!
