Movie review: The Tide of Life

Saturday morning I watched this great movie... its a british mini-series based on a novel written by Catherine Cookson... who was... in my opinion... one of the best early-century writers around... I haven't been disappointed in any of the films based on her books. This one was no exception... romantic... sad... exciting... and the filmmakers do an excellent job of making the film appear authentic to early 1900's... if you do rent this (Netflix) notice the butter churner... I would love one of them! I must check EBay... Anyway... if you ever have the opportunity to see a Catherine Cookson movie do so... I give this... as I have given all of her films... five stars.
