My newest project on the needle

This was in the Dec. 2007 issue of Martha Stewart Living. It was a prop to display the bed it was on. I fell in love with the simplicity of this little blanket and am now on row 8 of the border garter stitch row. I decided not to do the basketweave border... I'm still new at knitting and don't have a pattern to follow... I'm just doing it... after about 10 rows of garter stitch then I'll straight stitch for about 36 inches... then another 10 rows of garter stitch. It'll take a while to finish and working with natural may get a little dull... but the end results will be nice. And.. I have no idea why my image is uploaded vertical instead of horizontal. :(
