This is a 6-part english mini-series. Its from a book written by Catherine Cookson. I love her books and the movies that are made from them. This was a long one... two discs... 5 hours. But well worth it. Just an exciting and romantic movie... one thing I love about these english films is how authentic they are... from the costumes to the homes to their daily lives. If you see this movie check out how they used to wash their clothes! I give this movie five stars.
