Having blissfully been born to a hippie mom, I grew up listening to Dan. I would sit on the floor as a young child and play 'air guitar' to Dan and John Denver. When the word "album" is mentioned, my mind always immediately makes the visual association with Dan's Home Free record cover, 'cause I grew up seeing that in my home, literally, all my life.
Glad to know he made such an impression in your life that you too would acknowledge his passing on your blog.
